White smoke is usually caused by grease splatter burning on the heating element.
The Fix: If cooking fatty foods (like bacon), add a small amount of water to the bottom of the basket to stop grease from smoking. Also, ensure you clean the heating element (located at the top of the cavity) with a damp cloth once the unit is cool and unplugged.
Flip the unit upside down. The model number is printed on a sticker on the bottom base of the air fryer. It usually starts with “AF”, “DZ”, or “AG”.
