The indicator light on the floor nozzle tells you the status of the brush roll:
- Solid Green: The brush roll is spinning and working correctly.
- Solid Red: There is a jam (hair or object) in the brush roll area. Turn off the vacuum and clear the obstruction.
- Flashing Red: The motorized floor nozzle is overheating. Turn off the vacuum and let it cool for 45 minutes.

The Fix: Remove the dust cup. Pull out the two foam/felt pads located underneath it. Rinse them with cold water only (no soap) until the water runs clear. Squeeze them out and let them air dry for 24 hours before replacing.
